“ "It's 11:00 A.M. I've got like six drinks in me." ― Anthony Bourdain ¡Viva Mexico! Do you know what the soul needs after nearly a four-hour drive to Mexicali? Carne asada tacos, pizza al pastor, and maybe some Mexican Coca Cola. I'm not the biggest eater but the carne asada taco was so good, I ordered a second one. At 1 a pop and at the size of a frisbee, it was an easy decision. Did I end up eating both? Not really. I'm glad my friend was there to eat the other half of my second carne asada taco. Top it with some nopales, guacamole, cabbage, some beans, and both red and green salsa. As for the pizza al pastor? Bliss. You see them grilling up the al pastor on the spit right outside and the pineapple is such a delight. Don't forget to top it with some onion and cilantro. One slice was plenty for me.
